Homemade Taco Seasoning

by thebikinibakery

Taco seasoning is incredibly easy to make! You can make it as spicy, or in my case, as not spicy as you would like it. I usually make a double quantity and store it in an air tight container to use whenever I need it.

Taco seasoning is a quick seasoning that can be used for more than just tacos. It’s great for potatoes, fish, soups, taco dip, on meat or made into a creamy chipotle salad dressing.

SPICE LEVEL

Some recipes use crushed red pepper flakes but I use cayenne pepper because it’s easier to control the spice level that way. This recipe is made to have a mild spice level. You will want to increase the cayenne pepper if you want to increase the spice level, but remember, a little goes a long way!
